    We are currently looking for a Sr. Salesforce Developer in the Salt Lake City, UT office. 

    Responsibilities

    Senior Developer (Salesforce)

    iPipeline has an opportunity for a Salesforce Developer interested in being part of building an product on the SFDC platform.  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Force.com Platform.

    The Salesforce(SFDC) Developer will join our development team focusing on our product offerings built on the Salesforce.com platform.  This person will be involved in all phases of the system development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation and deployment for SFDC and Force.com platform.  This person possesses a balance of strong interpersonal skills with exceptional technical know-how. This position is suited for a well-rounded technical resource that would be able to focus on improving business processes, effectively apply development methodologies and tools, manage complicated projects and understand the needs of our clients.

    What you will be doing?

    • Design and development of Product features on Salesforce AppExchange
    • Lead the system development, within Salesforce platform to support client requirements
    • Provide product and implementation expertise on Salesforce platform
    • Work with product owners to understand needs and position Salesforce solutions
    • Develop on the Force.com platform using APEX, SOQL, SLDS, Lightning and other AppCloud technologies.
    • Client-side development – HTML, Javascript, CSS
    • Mentoring and providing technical assistance to other team members
    • Researching new technologies including creating and maintaining processes, procedures, and coding standards for staff
    • Follow the ALM and CI process using GIT, branching and merging.
    • Unit test coverage and conduct peer code reviews
    • Participate in estimation activities
    • Follow SCRUM methodology and participate in sprint meetings.
    • Participate in daily scrum meetings and take the initiative to organize other necessary meetings and ceremonies.
    • Create Technical Specifications and Architectural diagrams
    • Contribute to continuous improvement and proactively support knowledge-sharing within the domain/project team.
    • Reports to Director, CRM R&D

    Qualifications

     

    What you need to apply (required):

    • Salesforce Platform Developer Certified
    • 4+ years of experience with programming on the Force.com platform
    • 1+ year of experience working with Salesforce Lightening development
    • SF experience developing Salesforce AppExchange products and/or working with Managed Packages.
    • You have thorough technical and functional knowledge of Salesforce.com Technologies and Architecture: Visualforce, web service, interfaces, Salesforce.com Mobile, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Standard/Custom Objects, Flows, Formulas, Validation Rules, Reports, Dashboards, Apex Classes and Controllers, Apex Triggers
    • Web Technologies: HTML, Javascript, CSS
    • Understanding of key Salesforce architectural concepts (e.g. API and governor limits) and how they influence design
    • Security models and techniques within the salesforce.com environment
    • Experience in Database modeling, jquery, JSON, XML
    • Using ANT scripts and creating packages.

    • Salesforce Architect Certifications
    • Salesforce Platform Encryption, Platform Events, SSO Oauth, Lightning Development
    • Financial Service Cloud, Community Cloud
    • SFDX Experience
    • Insurance domain knowledge
    • AppExchange development experience
