    We are currently looking for a Development Manager (R&D, Content) in the Exton, PA office. 


    As a development manager for iPipeline, you will be responsible for leading the software development life cycle of our Content and Identity Management solutions. Working closely with product management, professional services, security, support and IT counterparts, this individual will be responsible for delivering product solutions.


    We are looking for someone who is not afraid to dive in, figure out new technologies and then disseminate that knowledge amongst their peers. Ideal candidates will have an eagerness to bring new ideas to the table and suggest changes that drive innovation and productivity while being open to feedback and critiques.


    Primary Responsibilities:


    • Ensure that projects and releases remain on schedule, are delivered with high quality, great customer satisfaction and achievement of target goals
    • Working with product management, ensure that the product backlog is continuously groomed, sized and prioritized.
    • Ensure that technical topics, including architectural improvements, technical debt, devops improvements and other efficiency improvements are properly prioritized in the product backlog, and that they are scheduled and delivered.
    • Manage the SDLC, including all agile/scrum ceremonies, e.g., daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, grooming, sizing, velocity-based release forecasting, etc.
    • Collaborating daily with your team and other internal teams.
    • Responsible for balancing unexpected issues with current in progress work.
    • Helping the team leverage the proper technologies when applicable.
    • Be excited about making an immediate impact within the company.
    • Implement and refine R&D initiatives and processes with quality and precision.
    • Research platforms and changes necessary to increase efficiency, revenue, scalability and reliability.
    • Manage and mentor development and analyst group.
    • Support sales, product management and other internal and external customers with R&D department needs.
    • Review and propose budget changes to support the product lines with appropriate system resources.
    • Fill in all gaps necessary to contribute to the success of the overall team outside of existing project responsibilities.


    Required Experience: 


    • 3-5 years of experience managing a software development team
    • Experience with agile software development methodologies: ScrumMaster or Product Owner certifications a plus
    • Strong skills in creating and following best practices in all aspects of software life cycle
    • Good communication, people and management skills


    Desired Skills:

    • Experience in the financial services market is a plus
    • Previous experience as a software developer a plus
