    We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Director in the Exton, Pa office. 


    The Quality Assurance Director will provide leadership and direction for the Quality Assurance team.  In this role the Quality Assurance Director will be responsible for ensuring that the products and Services Projects the company delivers meet or exceed customer quality expectations. 

    The Quality Assurance Director will work in partnership with the business units (Product, R&D and Services) to deliver high quality, effective and reliable solutions in order to gain a competitive advantage and maximize organizational value.  In addition, the Quality Assurance Director will continually improve documented quality processes and ensure that projects are delivered within scope and budget.  The job entails managing quality for Enterprise Solutions, as well as specific customer projects.



    • Manage the QA unit in order to complete all testing, monitor in-progress projects,
    • Validate the existing QA process framework and adjust as necessary to meet the objectives of quality management.
    • Seek and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement programs to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA organization.
    • Develop efficient test plans and coordinate testing schedules for multiple team members across multiple projects within aggressive timelines.
    • Liaise with key individuals in other departments to ensure the QA process is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
    • Provide management with timely, comprehensive and accurate reports on the status of projects going through QA.
    • Identify and track items that need corrective action and assign them to the appropriate department heads for completion.  Ensure required changes are implemented within negotiated timeframes.
    • Routinely audit the effectiveness of corrective action taken.
    • Perform appraisals of QA staff and set performance standards that are clearly understood.  Hire and train new QA members ensuring that they understand their roles and are in alignment with the company objectives.  Actively support team members in establishing personal development plans and facilitate individual career growth.



    Skills Requirements:

    • Team building skills to promote quality achievement, maximize effort and foster an environment of performance improvement amongst all team members.
    • Interpersonal skills to liaison effectively with customers and internal stakeholders and to address negative findings in a positive and constructive manner.
    • Presentation skills to provide management with updates on the entire quality program as well as project status and take technical information and translate it to be understood by various audiences.
    • Writing skills to present technical and management documents in a clear and concise manner encompassing company standards.



    Knowledge Requirements:

    • Knowledge of insurance industry practices and the methodologies to effect best practices of quality assurance for this line of business is preferred.
    • Experience managing larger offshore teams and managing numerous projects effectively simultaneously.
    • Experience with resource planning and governance and the establishment of Quality Center of Excellence.
    • Management principles to leverage peak productivity from the staff and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures.
    • Knowledge of QATesting tools, and the ability to integrate testing tools into a CI/CD pipeline.
    • Software development methodologies and life cycle.


    Education and Experience Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree – Preferably in Computer Sciences desired.
    • Minimum 5 years experience leading a large QA team with onshore and offshore components.
