We are currently looking for an IT Security Analyst / SOC Analyst in either Exton (PA), Salt Lake City (UT), or Cheltenham (UK) office.

Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role:

 

  • Operate the iPipeline Security Operation Center on a scheduled basis.
  • Increase awareness of best security practices across all iPipeline staff
  • Provide input on iPipeline security controls and best practices to internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Provide support and ongoing development of the iPipeline global risk management process
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, compliance, and standards such as HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, etc.
  • Reporting Functions: Daily SOC report, incident reports, monthly status report

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and maintain Critical Security Controls
  • Ensure effective security monitoring, alerting and reporting systems are in place
  • Monitor for and investigate suspicious and potentially malicious activity
  • Tune security controls to improve detection
  • Effectively manage any security-related problems or incidents
  • Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends
  • Analyse and respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities
  • Provide security-related metrics to measure the overall success of the Information Security program
  • Keep abreast of security technology and developments within the IT security field and their impacts on and potential benefits to iPipeline
  • Manage and develop relationships with counterpart security professionals at iPipeline ,customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that iPipeline staff are fully aware of the IT Security Policies and to promote secure working practices across the organization.
  • Respond to security internal and external questionnaires
  • Attend appropriate training opportunities to keep up with industry trends and career development

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Recognized Security Industry certification e.g. SANS (GSEC, GCIH), CISSP, CISA, CISM or related
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree

 

Desirable:

  • Prior SOC experience highly desirable.
  • ITIL, Microsoft, IDS/IPS, Ethical hacking, ISO 27001 ,  Carbon Black, InsightIDR, Splunk, Tenable, DarkTrace

 

Experience:

Essential:

  • Solid grounding on a variety of IT platforms and technologies
  • Knowledge of technical security controls, their design, implementation and operation e.g. firewalls, IDS/IPS
  • Working knowledge IP and relevant  Internet technologies.
  • Experience of working with Senior Management to identify, assess and treat security risks as well as gain support for security initiatives

  • Passionate about security, with the enthusiasm and drive to move the iPipeline security programme forward.
  • Focused on ensuring key security disciplines are set and maintained
  • Ability to clearly articulate security issues, risks and best practice to all levels of iPipeline staff
  • Excellent at cross-team working
  • Desire to continuously improve
  • Ability to motivate and encourage others to adopt secure ways of working
  • Ability to visualise, document and offer secure solutions across a wide range of IT technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
