We are currently looking for a Director of Client Services in the Exton, PA office. 

Responsibilities

Director of Client Services

 

Serving as primary liaison, between the company and multiple concurrent customer projects having primary responsibility for providing quality customer implements and achieving target profitability objectives. The role will also encompass all project management tasks, developing, managing and communicating detail project plans to ensure that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed specifications.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Manages Project Managers

  • Provide Client Level Guidance to PM
    • Compliance with Best Practices, Support PM is influencing decisions
    • Review deviations to Best Practices and coach PM through process for approval
    • Prepare PMs for Strategic Account Reviews
    • Monthly Governance Meetings
    • Projector Resource Time management and Project Data accuracy.
  • Mentor PMs and ensure success of all Project Managers
    • Planning, Resource, Release and Sprint.
    • Methodology – Education and review of compliance
    • Maintenance Agreements – Monthly Report
    • Client Management (Monthly Meeting, Account Plans, etc)
    • Time Reporting
  • Support PMs in Program Level Planning
  • Statements of Work for New Implementations

Pricing and Proposals

  • Participates in and Influences Executive Steering Committee Meetings
  • Sales and Sales Support
  • New Opportunity Sales to Existing Accounts
  • Manage Multiple Employees and Managers
    • Optimize staffing across teams
    • Proactively identify resources adjustments and needs
  • Financial Reporting –
    • Billing and Forecasting (Projector) Accuracy for all PMs, historically, current and upcoming 3-6 months
    • Proactive Management of Opportunities and Milestones
    • Proactive Reporting on Monthly Billings and Risk
    • Driving Milestone to completion w/o impacting Quality

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage the financial requirements and profitability of the project engagement from inception to completion
  • Must have effective customer interview skills
  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycles and process improvement methodologies
  • Excellent time management, organizational and negotiating skills
  • Expert with Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Powerpoint and Visio
  • Advanced Management Training and Technical Certifications are a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and technology

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, MIS, Computer Science or related area
  • AGILE experience a must
  • 10 to 15 years of experience interfacing with external clients in a project management role (IT/Software)
  • External client experience in running and managing projects and financial profitability
  • Experience in implementing projects from begin to end for small to mid size companies
  • PMP Certification is also desirable
